More CORE functions not working at eBay

As if sellers on eBay didn't have enough to worry about with all of the changes at eBay, core functions on the site are now experiencing major issues.  Perhaps eBay's impending lay offs are affecting routine maintenance on the site.  Here at dollars and e-sense I've been covering some of the latest mishaps at ebay.  The troubling fact is they seem to be occuring more frequently and with a more severe impact with a seller's ability to conduct business.

Paypal MultiOrder Ship Tool Down

I noticed the MultiShip tool was down when I tried to process my orders for friday.  The tool seems to be totally missing because a 404 file not found error occurs when trying to access the site.  Other users in the paypal forum on ebay were discussing the issue.  eBay's pinks tried to answer questions but gave the usual, "clear your cache and restart your browser".  I've yet to see this solution ever work to fix any issue I've ever encountered.

With DSR's and buyer dissatisfaction percentages playing such an important part of seller's business, it is truly irresponsible for ebay and paypal to not have teams working round the clock 24 hours to fix this issue.  Printing labels one by one for a serious seller is almost impossible.

Search index not working correctly - listings now showing up properly in search

Ebay also announced that some of the indexing procedures which are necessary to work on the site early Saturday morning on the systems announcement board.

These types of issues are inexcusable, they directly negatively impact seller success.  Ebays new policies hold the seller accountable, ebay needs to step up and squash these issues.  Listing credits are not sufficient for these types of service issues.

Selling on ebay has become almost like playing the slot machines.  Wait, ebay already has that under control as well.
